New manufacturing facilities for the US semiconductor industry are beginning operations in Arizona and Massachusetts. The Chandler, Arizona plant began operations in November. It provides remanufacturing and assembly of vacuum pumps and other essential equipment. The Massachusetts facility is dedicated to R&D and is located in Haverhill, north of Boston.

Acquisition of CVS Engineering GmbH, a German manufacturer of industrial vacuum pumps and blowers for mobile use on tanker trucks and other types of transport, is finalized. The company is headquartered in Rheinfelden, Germany.

Shandong Meditech Medical Technology Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of onsite oxygen solutions for the healthcare market, is obtained. Shandong Meditech manufactures oxygen generators and sells solutions for onsite oxygen generation for medical use in hospitals and for medically prescribed home use.

Suzhou Since Gas System Co., Ltd. (Since Gas), a China-based manufacturer of on-site gas generation equipment, is now owned by Atlas Copco. Since Gas is a privately owned company headquartered in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. The company specializes in on-site gas generation for industries including metals, petrochemical, marine and electronics.
