Atlas Copco has acquired a majority share of Eco Steam and Heating Solutions, a Dutch industrial steam and hot water boiler company.
Eco Steam and Heating Solutions is based in Tilburg, in the Netherlands and has 23 employees.
The company develops, rents, and sells customized industrial boiler assemblies tailored for plug and play installation. Eco Steam and Heating Solutions serves European customers, primarily in the general industry, such as food and beverage, chemical, steel, pharmaceuticals, and the energy sector.
“Eco Steam and Heating Solutions is a leading company in its field of expertise in their region,” said Andrew Walker, Business Area President Power Technique. “The acquisition is in line with our strategy to strengthen and expand our specialized rental product offering to industrial customers in all segments and territories.”
The purchase price is not material relative to Atlas Copco’s market capitalization and is not disclosed.
Eco Steam and Heating Solutions will become part of the Specialty Rental division within the Power Technique business area.
