The Millennium Enterprise Multiphysics Platform is a hardware/software digital twin solution that offers enhanced system design and analysis capabilities.
Cadence Design Systems has unveiled its Millennium Enterprise Multiphysics Platform, which is a combination hardware/software (HW/SW) digital twin solution capable of multiphysics system design, simulation, and analysis. The Cadence Millennium M1 platform uses high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to achieve greater performance and efficiency. It is available in both the cloud and on-site, including graphics processing units (GPU) from major vendors, fast interconnections, and a CFD software stack optimized for GPU acceleration and generative AI.
“Throughout our 35-year history, Cadence has been focused on increasing performance with no loss of accuracy for the most challenging computational applications. Algorithmic throughput remains a key priority, and we’re now leveraging generative AI to harvest knowledge gained from massive quantities of design and simulation data,” said Ben Gu, Corporate Vice President of R&D, Cadence. “Our Millennium platform is a giant leap forward, delivering acceleration and scalability of digital twin and AI applications. CFD is poised to benefit greatly from performance and efficiency gains, and the power of the Millennium M1 is disrupting industries that must explore more design innovations and bring them to market faster.”
Millennium M1 instances can be joined in a unified cluster, allowing customers to achieve same-day turnaround time and near-linear scalability for complex mechanical system simulations. Advances in multiphysics simulations will assist in optimizing performance, reduce greenhouse gases, improve fuel efficiency, and reduce drag and noise, and extend electrical vehicle range.
Cadence’s HW/SW platform is available today and has a range of benefits that include the following:
