GE announced it has secured an order from Iberdrola for its 7HA.01 gas turbine technology, marking the first time that technology will be deployed in Mexico.
The order, which will supply the 766-MW Topolobampo III project, includes two 7HA.01 gas turbines, a D650 steam turbine, three generators, two heat recovery steam gnerators and a plant control system outfitted with GE’s Digital Power Plant suite powered by Predix.
