The state-of-the-art facility, powered by renewable hydroelectricity, will produce 20MW of hydrogen in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Howden’s hydrogen compressors will take hydrogen from the electrolyzers and compress for on-site, short-term mobile storage. It will also be transported and blended into the fuel stream at Atura Power’s Halton Hills Generating Station. More generally, Howden is focused on developing its hydrogen compressors, technology, and services.
