Japan’s Kawasaki Heavy Industries has received an order for 100MW class combined cycle power plant (CCPP) from Kashima South Joint Power Corporation (KSJPC).
KSJPC operates the Kashima South Joint Power Station which will feature the L30A model 30MW class gas turbine.
Kawasaki will perform the overall design of the plant, supply and installation of gas turbines, a steam turbine and heat recovery steam generators, as well as civil engineering construction.
The 107MW output CCPP will be constructed in Kamisu City, Ibaraki.
The facility will feature three L30A gas turbines, three heat recovery steam generators and one steam turbine.
Operations are expected to commence in 2020.
