Tojo to Lead Expansion of North American Turbomachinery Presence and After-Sales Capabilities
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor International Corporation (MCO-I) announced Kazuhito Tojo as its new president and CEO. Tojo will succeed Jun Fukuda, who will transition to an advisory role at MCO's facility in Hiroshima, Japan.
Tojo brings leadership experience to MCO-I's Pearland Work's facility, with plans to expand the company's North American turbomachinery presence and after-sales services. Tojo stated that MCO-I aims to provide technology and compression systems in adherence with carbon-neutrality trends.
Tojo has been with the company since 1996. In 2015, he moved to MCO-I's Houston office as general manager to establish the Pearland facility's process foundation. After returning to Japan and serving as deputy general manager and later general manager of manufacturing at MCO Hiroshima, Tojo relocated to Houston in 2021, assuming the role of Executive VP.
