Malloy Electric Invests in Locations Across North, South Dakota, Wyoming

Investments include an additional horizontal boring mill, a commutator repair system, and expanding the Wyoming shop’s footprint with a new test stand and 40-ton crane.

Malloy Electric is investing capital expansions in three locations across the United States’ western and midwestern regions. The investments include:

  • Acquiring an additional horizontal boring mill for the Dakota Dunes, SD location to support the existing Johnford boring mill.

  • Customized boring system technologies to increase its capabilities while reducing set-up times compared to traditional systems.
  • A universal commutator repair system for direct current machines in the Mandan, ND location, complementing the vacuum pressure impregnation system for the oil, gas, and mining industries.
  • And a 20,000-square-foot expansion of Elite Industrial’s shop in Wyoming, including a new test stand and 40-ton crane.
