Entergy Louisiana, LLC has selected two Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) M501GAC gas turbines for its 980 megawatt St. Charles Power Station, a combined cycle.
The contract for Entergy Louisiana, LLC is for the purchase of two M501GAC gas turbines. MHPS has more advanced class gas turbines operating around the globe than the next two competitors combined. These include the G-Series and J-Series gas turbines. The two turbines that will be installed at the St. Charles Power Station are air-cooled versions of the MHPS G-Series.
