Companies connecting platforms to enable full-fidelity digital twins
NVIDIA and Siemens are expanding their partnership to increase the use of AI-driven digital twin technology.
The companies are connecting Siemens Xcelerator, a digital business platform, and NVIDIA Omniverse, a 3D design and collaboration platform. This partnership enables an industrial metaverse with physics-based digital models from Siemens and real-time AI from NVIDIA.
The Siemens Xcelerator platform connects mechanical, electrical and software domains across the product and production processes and enables the convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT).
Digital Twins can deliver productivity and process improvements across production and product lifecycles. Companies can employ digital twins with real-time performance data, create industrial Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, converge insights from analytics, and tackle engineering challenges.
