Rolls-Royce Signs MoU with Air India to Deliver 68 Trent XWB-97 Turbojet Engines

The new generation of Trent turbojet engines offers a 15% improvement in fuel efficiency.

Air India has acquired 68 Trent XWB-97 aircraft engines from Rolls-Royce, marking the inaugural purchase of the Trent XWB by an Indian carrier. The turbojet engines offer a 15% improvement in fuel efficiency over the first-generation model. Consequently, this delivery will enable Air India to expand its fleet on a global scale.
