The Via 7.9 is the largest mobile power generator from Siemens

The Via 7.9 from Siemens is the larger version of their 5.8 offering. It’s the highest density single trailer mobile package on offer. Its dimensions are 2.6 m (8 ft 6 in) width, 19.2 m (63 ft) length, and 4.2 m (13ft 9in) height. It has 7.9 Mwe output, 11,930 heat rate (kJ/kWh), and 12,587 heat rate (BTU/kWh).

It’s a single trailer power station, requiring no permanent foundation. The drivetrain is aligned from the factory, and a secure locking mechanism ensures safe and steady transport. The standard generator with this model is 13.8 kV, 60 Hz. Other voltages and 50 Hz options are available, upon request. Ambient temperatures can be as low as 20 ⁰C (-4 ⁰F) up to 50 ⁰C (122 ⁰F)

It contains a light-industrial gas turbine with a wide range of fuel options. These include Dual Fuel Capability, Well Head Gas, Natural Gas, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), Liquified Propane Gas (LPG), or No. 2 Diesel. There’s a Dry low emission (DLE) combustion system onboard to circumvent the need for water injection to achieve high emissions standards
