Wood Group has secured a $1millon deal with Origin Energy for a natural gas project in Australia. Wood Group is likely to work on the Halladale, Black Watch & Speculant (HBWS) Natural Gas Project in South West Victoria.
The fields are located in the sensitive marine environments in the Otway Basin, and will be drilled using extended reach drilling. Wood Group Kenny will provide a detailed design of onshore raw gas and Mono-Ethylene Glycol (MEG) pipelines from the well pad to the gas plant.
Bob MacDonald, chief executive of Wood Group Kenny said the contract for HBWS “builds on our strong relationship with Origin Energy in the region, and nationally, where we continue to provide engineering services in support of both existing assets and new projects.”
