APR Energy recently signed a new 100MW contract in
Latin America
to provide its fast-track, temporary power solutions. The agreement provides for dual-fuel gas turbines to address anticipated supply shortages and seasonal demand requirements for the customer.
In addition, APR Energy has signed three contract extensions in
Asia
,
Africa
and the
Latin America
/
Caribbean
region totaling 160MW. This includes the continuation of 70MW of gas turbines in
Japan
, where APR Energy has been providing power solutions since the Tohoku-Chihou-Taiheiyo-Oki Earthquake and associated tsunami in
March 2011
. The 100MW of dual-fuel turbines are being repositioned to
Uruguay
from a previously-announced 100MW award in
Mexico
due to permitting delays on that project.
