The five-year master service agreement appoints EthosEnergy as the primary service provider for light industrial gas turbine maintenance and support.
EthosEnergy and Harbour Energy have entered into a master service agreement (MSA) for a five-year term. The MSA, with an option for extension, sets EthosEnergy as the primary service provider for the maintenance and support of Harbour Energy’s fleet of light industrial gas turbines. These gas turbines are spread across three production assets in the U.K.’s North Sea region.
“As a mature basin, the North Sea is home to aging infrastructure which requires ongoing and meticulous maintenance to keep assets operational and safe,” said Mario Cincotta, EVP of East Hemisphere, EthosEnergy. “The harsh environmental conditions and 24/7 activity on assets demands expertise and efficiency from companies across the supply chain, and for those companies to deliver through a lens of emissions reduction."
In addition to partnering with Harbour Energy, EthosEnergy has worked with Premier Oil, Chrysaor, and ConocoPhillipis U.K. North Sea. In 15 years, the company has doubled the number of gas turbine units it can support for Harbour Energy and will continue to deliver comprehensive field service. As per the MSA, EthosEnergy will also provide workshop support, supply spare parts, and perform consistent planned and unplanned maintenance.
“We are proud to provide our comprehensive suite of services, including the repair and ongoing maintenance of the gas turbine units, to Harbour Energy,” said Cincotta. “The expansion of our relationship builds on the steps we have taken alongside Harbour Energy to support the company in lowering life cycle costs, increasing the reliability of its turbines and extending equipment life across its asset portfolio. This strengthened relationship is a testament to our offering and represents our commitment to the North Sea and our strategic growth plan.”
