Schneider’s technologies and software solutions are aimed at energy security, resource efficiency, and sustainability
Schneider Electric will present a variety of new technologies and software solutions at Hannover Messe 2023, aimed at helping industries address global priorities such as energy security, resource efficiency, and sustainability. Barbara Frei, Executive Vice President of Industrial Automation at Schneider Electric, stated, “We are at a unique moment in history, where the global goal of carbon neutrality is meeting the short-term need to mitigate the energy crisis.”
Hannover Messe, an industrial trade fair, will take place in Hannover, Germany, from April 17 to 21. Schneider Electric's innovations include the internet of things-enabled EcoStruxure platform, designed to drive efficiency across industries.
Among the features, EcoStruxure Automation Expert V23.0 offers software-based redundant automation solutions for the water desalination market. Alicia Pérez Ballester, Manager of Automation, Systems & Process Optimization at Acciona Water Solutions, emphasized, “Such an approach can bring concrete benefits to our projects both in the design phase and during operations.”
Schneider Electric's latest motor management solutions feature new Spacial SFN enclosures and Altivar ATV320 solar drives. According to the company, these drives provide environmentally friendly pumping solutions without producing any CO2 emissions.
The company also introduces GM AirSeT Performance, a sustainable SF6-free medium voltage switchgear that helps industrial customers manage tightening F-gas regulations. Other solutions include the Easy UPS 3-Phase Modular uninterruptible power supply and the PowerLogic P7 Protection Relay, designed for complex and advanced industrial applications to maximize operational efficiency, power availability, and electricity security. Schneider Electric will also present ETAP, a new integrated electrical digital twin platform, and AVEVA, a fully-owned subsidiary that will showcase its industrial software.
