Leng Weiqing, Chairwoman of the Board at Shanghai Electric, visited Christian Bruch, President, CEO, and Chief Sustainability Officer of Siemens Energy AG, in Germany, July 25-27.
During their July visit, Leng Weiqing, Chairwoman of the Board at Shanghai Electric, and Christian Bruch, President, CEO, and Chief Sustainability Officer of Siemens Energy AG furthered their industrial cooperation to develop low-carbon energy. During the meeting, Siemens Energy’s development strategy and layout were presented, highlighting the company’s core technologies including water electrolysis for hydrogen production, smart grids, and offshore booster stations.

As partners, Shanghai Electric and Siemens Energy aim to expedite the promotion of green and low-carbon energy transformation. During the visit in Germany, Weiqing and team toured the Siemens Energy transformers factory, PEM hydrogen production factory, gas turbine factory, and innovation center.
